Question 1

What is Ring Ping?

Accepted Answer

Ring Ping is a simple calendar and alarm app that calls your phone instead of sending a notification. When it is time, your Android phone rings like a real incoming call and Cola, our koala, reads out what it is for.

Question 2

What happens if I miss the call?

Accepted Answer

Cola calls back. You choose how many times (1 to 5 calls) and how long to wait between them (1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes). Tap Don't call back to stop for that reminder.

Question 3

Does it place real phone calls?

Accepted Answer

No. The call is created by the Ring Ping app on your phone. It does not use your phone number, minutes or SMS.

Question 4

Do I need an account?

Accepted Answer

Not on Android — the app works offline. Create an account with email or Google to plan on the web, keep a backup and sync devices.
