What is Ring Ping?
Ring Ping is a simple calendar and alarm app that calls your phone instead of sending a notification. When it is time, your Android phone rings like a real incoming call and Cola, our koala, reads out what it is for.
Why a call instead of a notification?
Notifications are easy to miss or swipe away. A ringing call is hard to ignore, so important things — medicine, meetings, pickups — actually get done.
What happens if I miss the call?
Cola calls back. You choose how many times (1 to 5 calls) and how long to wait between them (1, 2, 5 or 10 minutes). In a meeting? Tap “Don’t call back” and she will stop for that reminder.
Does it place real phone calls or cost anything to receive?
No. The call is created by the Ring Ping app on your phone. It does not use your phone number, minutes or SMS.
Do I need an account?
Not on Android — the app works fully offline. Create an account (email or Google) to plan on the web, keep a backup, use the 30-day Recycle bin and sync between devices.
Which devices are supported?
Calls ring on Android phones. You can plan and edit your events and alarms on any computer or phone browser at ringping.space.
Is my data private?
Yes. No ads and we never sell data. Website analytics only run if you allow them, and you can download or delete everything at any time.
